As the Workplace Trainer & Assessor you will be responsible for the design, delivery and assessment of hands-on technical training across all departments.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Conduct both on the job and off the job competency assessments
Design and deliver effective training and assessment solutions that cater to individual learning styles
Proactively engaging with managers / leaders to identify emerging training needs
Performing training needs analysis to identify critical training gaps
Ensuring Safe Work Instructions are up to date and any changes are trained with impacted individuals
Understanding training impacts associated with organisational / equipment changes to ensure work instructions are up to date and individuals have the appropriate skills
Supporting new starter inductions with GMP, site mandatory process and site walk / introductions.
Supporting managers to identify individuals with development potential and coach them to uplift their team capability
Accurate record keeping of employee training assessments including ownership of the site training matrix (or other associated training database/s)
Preparing training reports, including the number of hours of training delivered and any upcoming training priorities
Keeping up to date with industry best practice, OHS & other legislated training delivery methods and skills, recommending changes for continuous improvement
Championing good knowledge management and knowledge sharing practices across the BFS business and broader group
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
Cert IV in Training and Assessment would be highly desirable
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate) in a manufacturing or production environment.
Understanding of learning management systems, e-learning platforms and record keeping applications
Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills
Strong communication including presentation and facilitation skills
Experience with office management tools (MS Office software)
