About the position
We are seeking qualified Industrial Electricians to join our Maintenance team at our Inverell Processing Facility. In these roles you will undertake a wide range of preventative and reactive maintenance in ensuring our production facility has minimal downtime and operates as efficiently as possible.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
- Ensure safety standards are always met (safety comes first!).
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep things running like clockwork.
About you
- Current Trade Certification - Cert III Electrotechnology
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of motor controls, PLCs and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations.
- Exceptional problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Well developed fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand production processes and requirements
- Ability to work as part of a rotating roster and undertaking of weekend maintenance work
